Would someone kindly inform the president that 3000 American citizens did NOT die in the September 11, 2001 attacks?

The actual number of victims is very close to 3000; however about 500 of them were citizens of other nations, not the US. In all, about 40 countries shared in the death toll.

It might sound like I'm pickin' nits, but in my opinion, Bush is trivializing the deaths by spewing a rough estimate which totally misses the mark for accuracy and respect for the individuals who were killed that day.

But that's just my opinion.
